Norbert Tadeusz (1940-2011) is German artist and well-known figurative painter of the contemporary period.

From 1961 to 1966 he studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Gerhard Hoehme, Joseph Fassbender and Joseph Beuys, who appointed him his master student. In 1970 he stayed on the island of Elba, where he painted scenes of everyday culture in Italy.
