Imi Knoebel, actually Klaus Wolf Knoebel, *1940, a German painter and sculptor of the art movement Minimal Art.

In 1965, he was accepted into the Beuys class. In 1982, Imi Knoebel " opposed martial law in Poland - for "Solidarność".
